Tim Heidecker gets political with Herman Cain album

Tim Heidecker
You never know what to expect from Tim Heidecker, one half of Adult Swim’s Tim & Eric duo, and I have to give him props for his latest work, a comedy tribute album to presidential hopeful and alleged sex offender Herman Cain.
After comparisons were drawn between the Republican field hopeful’s campaign ad featuring his aide smoking a cigarette and Heidecker’s work, Heidecker wrote the elaborate “Cain Train” jingle, but couldn’t stop there. Now, Heidecker has royally pissed off Cain by releasing nine Cain-related parody jingles, packaged together as Cainthology: Songs in the Key of Cain. The songs are downright silly, but Cain’s staff has already demanded Heidecker take down the songs.
All the proceeds from album sales go directly to the Violence Intervention Program, a charity that helps victims of violence and sexual assault.
Heidecker’s fans have made several YouTube videos of the songs. My favorite so far is “My Master, My Master!,” which is below. The album contains other tracks including “Lord Cain,” “Cain Mutiny,” “Pray for Cain” and “Cain is Able.”
If you don’t know who Herman Cain is, time to get out from under the rock buddy. We have an election coming up. Besides, it’s been pretty amusing watching this presidential hopeful’s campaign crumble.
